RANA PLAZA VICTIMS

C.R.P    has treated more than 150 out patients, among whom 36 were admitted (3 with spinal cord injury). Following are few profiles of “Rana Plaza” victims admitted in CRP. Please click on respective pictures to go to their profiles


Nurun Nahar is 25 years old female. She was admitted at CRP on 27-Apr-13. Doctors diagnosed her as “# Distal Fibula (Lt. е # Mdial Malulus)”. She is a native of Sherpur and didn’t undergo any surgery.




Asma Akhter is 30 years old female. She was working as garments worker at Rana Plaza for last 1 year. During the disaster she was at 8th floor. The roof collapsed on the table she was working at and the table smashed on her waist. Her waist is broken. She is undergoing necessary treatment at CRP patients ward. She was admitted CRP on 28-Apr-13. Doctors diagnosed her condition as “Traumatic Paraplegia”. She is from Daulatpur, Manikganj. She didn’t undergo any surgery.




Rezaul Karim is a male of 35 years old garments worker. He worked in the New Wave Style Ltd. a garment factory situated in Rana Plaza , Savar. On April 24,2013, he was working at the seventh floor of Rana Plaza. After the building collapsed a rescue team saved his life. Now he is admitted to CRP-Savar and he has Traumatic Paraplegia. He needs treatment and also needs to do an urgent MRI test. He has to stay in CRP approximately for one month.
